Dad's Raw Fish Synopsis

My Dads raw fish

This story is about how Dad prepares the raw fish with his son. Dad is preparing the food for the family for Friday night. Dad prepares the food by going fishing  then gets the kids to help him do the worst job, scaling and gutting the fish. Then he has to cut them up. After that he put it into the marinating sauce. Dad says the fish will be ready when the fish go white. Will the fish go white in time for the dinner?

 Lately my reading group have been reading the book A birthday in the life of Ozzie Kingsford by Val Bird and illustrated by Rebecca Cundy I have a great time reading it. Reflection for the book Ozzie Kingsford

Something I was pleased with was that my group did a great job reading the book and doing their assignments

and we had a lot of fun doing it.

I really enjoyed learning about the adventure that Ozzie had going to the beach on his birthday and having trouble on the way with his family.

Something I found hard was trying to find different Ideas when we were doing the assignments so they weren't all the same. 

My favourite part in the book is were the wasps attack them and they have to walk for ages.                            

Old Sandshoe

 For reading we read a book called old sandshoe I enjoyed reading this book a lot. Read on to learn more    about old sandshoe. This old sandshoe that is the name of the dog he lives with pa. Pa called him old sandshoe because when pa first saw him pa reckoned his face was as ugly as a twisted old sandshoe. I have done a brain storm of what he looks like and what he does and a picture of him.

 I finished my movie that I made with my group it is called the evil drinking fountain.We did it for our literacy Rotation. I had a great time making it.

Today I just got my fist pen pal letter from  U.S.A. It was so cool, we were just randomly reading then one of the teachers come in and said special delivery that was for us. My favourite part was it was on the
TOP!!!!

Eddie is a otter a very clever because he was rescued from the wild in the 2000 ‘s.
He is 16 year old in 2011 he had an X ray he got told that he some arthritis in his elbows so the doctors suggested that he should do something to kept them moving so they thought that basketball would be good. In a week he was able to shoot  a hoop he hardly ever misses and when he does he kept on trying.He does not show the people at the Zoo that he play basketball he because it is for his health.
